Refund Policy
Last updated: May 17, 2026
Summary: PixelAPI does not offer refunds after purchase. Every new account first gets a full free trial (24 hours, up to 5,000 credits) to evaluate the platform before paying. Once a subscription is purchased, charges are non-refundable — but you can cancel at any time and continue using the plan for the remainder of the period you've already paid for.
1. Trial first, payment second
Every new account — whether created on the web or inside the Lensora mobile app — receives a 24-hour free trial with up to 5,000 credits (whichever ends first). The trial gives full access to every tool we offer. Users are expected to evaluate output quality, speed, and fit during this trial before entering any payment details. By choosing to purchase a subscription after the trial, users confirm they have evaluated the service and are satisfied with its capabilities.
How the trial ends: the moment either the 24-hour window closes or your trial credit balance hits 5,000, the trial ends and you'll be prompted to subscribe. The same trial applies whether you signed up via the web, the Lensora Android app, or the API — it's the same account on the backend.
2. No refund once a subscription is paid for
All subscription payments are final and non-refundable once charged, regardless of the channel they were purchased through (Razorpay, PayPal, Google Play, or Apple App Store). This includes Starter, Pro, and Scale plans on monthly billing cycles.
What you can do:
- Cancel anytime. Open your subscription manager (Razorpay/PayPal dashboard for web purchases; Google Play → Subscriptions for Android purchases; App Store → Subscriptions for iOS purchases) and cancel. No further charges will be made.
- Keep using the plan until the cycle ends. When you cancel, your paid plan stays active until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. Cancellation does not produce a prorated refund or partial credit return — you've already paid for that month, so you keep that month.
- After the cycle ends, your account moves to the free tier. Any unused plan credits are forfeited at that point, in line with the 30-day credit-expiry rule in our Terms.
3. Refund Process & Invoice Cancellation
4. The Only Exception — Technical Billing Errors
We will issue a refund only in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate charge: If you were charged more than once for the same purchase due to a payment processing error, contact us within 7 days with your payment reference. The duplicate amount will be refunded to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
- Service unavailability: If PixelAPI experiences a confirmed, extended outage (exceeding 24 consecutive hours) attributable solely to our infrastructure, a proportionate credit adjustment or refund may be issued at our discretion.
Credits deducted for failed API jobs due to our infrastructure errors are automatically reversed within 24 hours — no action needed from you.
5. Refund Process & Invoice Cancellation
When a refund is approved and processed:
- The refund is initiated via the original payment gateway — PayPal for international payments, Razorpay for INR payments.
- The corresponding GST invoice is cancelled (voided) in our accounting system (Zoho Books) in compliance with Indian GST rules.
- The credits associated with the refunded purchase are deducted from your account balance. Credits already consumed prior to the refund request cannot be restored or compensated.
- If the refund covers a subscription plan, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan upon processing.
- Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days. The actual credit to your bank/PayPal account depends on your payment provider.
6. Subscription Plans (Razorpay, PayPal, Google Play, Apple App Store)
Monthly subscription payments are non-refundable across every billing channel. All credits — purchased and complimentary — expire after 30 (thirty) calendar days from the date they are credited to your account. Unused credits are forfeited at expiry and are not carried over, refunded, or converted to cash. For full details see our Terms & Conditions (Section 4 — Credits and Billing). You may cancel your subscription at any time to stop future charges — see our Cancellation Policy. App-store purchases (Google Play / Apple) follow the same no-refund rule on our side; their own platform-level refund mechanisms (e.g. Google Play's 48-hour auto-refund window) are independent of this policy and are governed by the platform.
